Shop Terms

The agreement between your shop and BarberBot.

These are the terms on which BarberBot (Matt Goodman, trading as BarberBot, siamlekbot.com) provides your shop with its booking page, walk-in queue, and owner control panel (the "Service"). Together with the Data Processing Agreement, they form the full agreement between your shop and BarberBot.

What's provided

An online booking page, live walk-in queue, and owner control panel for your shop, hosted at a URL BarberBot gives you. The Service is currently offered as an early-access pilot — features may change, and there may be occasional downtime for maintenance or fixes.

Fees

Whatever's agreed directly with you (e.g. a free pilot period, or a monthly subscription) applies in place of this general page. Any change to pricing will be agreed with you in writing (email is fine) before it takes effect.

Payments (deposits)

If you choose to take customer deposits, they're processed through your own Stripe account, connected via Stripe Connect — you are the merchant of record for every deposit taken. BarberBot facilitates the connection between you and Stripe but is not a party to the payment itself, and never holds your or your customers' funds. Refunds, disputes, and chargebacks on deposits are yours to manage directly through your own Stripe dashboard. BarberBot may deduct a small flat platform fee from each deposit (disclosed to you before deposits are switched on, if one applies). Deposits are entirely optional — turn them on or off at any time from your owner panel.

Your responsibilities

Give BarberBot accurate information about your services, hours, and barbers; keep your owner panel password/PIN confidential; only collect information from your customers that's needed to make a booking; and remain the first point of contact for your customers if they ask about their data — BarberBot will give you the tools to view, edit, or cancel a customer's current booking directly from your panel, per the Data Processing Agreement.

Data protection

How personal data is handled is set out in full in the Data Processing Agreement, which forms part of this agreement.

Service level

This is an early-stage pilot service without a formal uptime guarantee. BarberBot will make reasonable efforts to keep the Service available and fix issues promptly, but doesn't guarantee uninterrupted access.

Ending the agreement

Either side can end this agreement with reasonable written notice (email is fine). On ending, BarberBot will make your booking data available for export, then delete it per the Data Processing Agreement.

This is a starter-grade agreement written to get a pilot shop covered on paper — it has not been reviewed by a solicitor. By signing up through the shop admin panel, you're agreeing to these terms and the linked Data Processing Agreement as they stand today.
