This booking service is provided to the barbershop you're booking with. This notice explains what personal information is collected when you make a booking or join the walk-in queue, why, and what your rights are. It's written to be clear, not legalistic.
We use this information solely to manage your appointment or queue place — to hold your booking, let the shop prepare for you, and send you a confirmation if you gave an email. The legal basis is that this information is necessary to provide the booking you asked for.
Only the barbershop you booked with can see your booking. We don't sell your information, share it with advertisers, or use it for marketing. You won't be added to any mailing list.
If the shop asks for a deposit to secure your booking, your card details are handled directly by Stripe, a regulated payment processor — we never see or store your card number. Stripe processes the payment on the shop's behalf; see Stripe's own privacy notice for how they handle payment data.
Once your appointment date has passed, your booking record is automatically deleted the next day — we don't keep a history of past bookings. Only your current or upcoming booking is ever stored. If you'd like something removed sooner, contact the shop directly and they can arrange it.
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. To do any of these, contact the shop you booked with.
This service uses minimal browser storage only to remember your place in the queue while you're using it. It does not use tracking or advertising cookies.
